Psalms 87

A Song of Zion

1 His foundation is on the holy mountains.

2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion More than all the homes of Jacob.

3 Awesome stuff is said about You, O city of God.

A Declaration of Zion’s Glory

4 I will remember Rahab and Babylon as those who know Me; Look, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush, “This one was born there.”

5 And of Zion it will be said, “This and that dude was born in her,” And the Most High Himself will set her up.

6 The Lord will count, when He writes the people, “This one was born there.”

7 The singers and the musicians will say, “All my springs are in You.”
