Psalms 70

A Prayer for Urgent Help

1 God, hurry up and rescue me; Lord, hurry up and help me.

2 Let them who look for my life Be embarrassed and shamed; Let them who want to mess me up Turn back and be confused.

3 Let them turn back because of their shame Who say, “Aha, aha!”

4 Let all who look for You be happy and celebrate in You; And let those who love Your rescue always say, “God is big-time!”

5 But me, I am broke and needy; God, hurry up and get to me! You are my help and my rescuer; Lord, do not hold up.
