Read Psalms 26 in clear, relatable modern language.
A Prayer for Vindication
Judge me, Lord, because I walked in my innocence; I trusted in the Lord and is not going to trip.
Test me, Lord, and try me; Check my heart and my mind.
Because Your grace is in front of my eyes, And I walked in Your truth.
I am not sit with liars, And I am not hang with the two-faced.
I hate the crew of evil-doers, And I am not going to chill with the wicked.
A Vow of Purity
I wash my hands in innocence; And I go around Your altar, Lord,
Singing loud songs of thanks, And telling everybody about all Your awesome moves.
Lord, I love the house where You live, And the spot where Your glory hangs out.
Do not gather my soul with sinners, Or my life with bloodthirsty dudes,
In whose hands are evil plans, And their right hand is full of bribes.
But me, I walk in my innocence; Rescue me and show me grace.
My foot is standing on solid ground; In the big crowd, I will bless the Lord.
