Psalms 24

The King of Glory

1 The earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord, The world and those who live in it.

2 Because He started it on the seas, And set it up on the rivers.

3 Who can go up to the mountain of the Lord, And who can chill in His holy spot,

4 The one with clean hands and a pure heart, Who did not lift his soul to worthless stuff, And did not lie.

5 He will get a blessing from the Lord, And what is right from the God of his rescue.

6 This is the family of those who look for Him, Who look for Your face, God of Jacob.

A Call to Worship

7 Lift up your heads, you gates; Be lifted up, you ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is this King of glory, The Lord, strong and mighty, The Lord, mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, you gates; Lift them up, you ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is this King of glory, The Lord of armies, He is the King of glory.
