Psalms 145

A Hymn to the King

1 I will lift You up, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever.

2 Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever.

3 Big is the Lord and super worthy of praise, And His greatness cannot be searched.

A Declaration of God’s Character

4 One generation will praise Your works to the next, And will talk about Your mighty moves.

5 I will talk about the awesome props of Your majesty, And Your awesome works.

6 They will talk about the power of Your scary works, And I will tell about Your greatness.

7 They will talk about the memory of Your massive goodness And will sing about Your righteousness.

8 The Lord is graceful and merciful, Slow to get mad and big in loyal grace.

9 The Lord is good to everyone, And His mercy is over all His works.

A Final Call to Praise

10 All Your works will thank You, Lord, And Your faithful ones will bless You.

11 They will talk about the props of Your kingdom, And talk about Your power,

12 To let the sons of humans know about Your mighty moves, And the awesome props of Your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your rule lasts through all generations. The Lord is loyal in all His words, And holy in all His works.

14 The Lord holds up all who are falling, And lifts up all who are brought down.

15 The eyes of everyone look to You, And You give them their food in its time.

16 You open Your hand And fill everything alive with what it wants.

17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways, And holy in all His works.

18 The Lord is close to all who call on Him, To all who call on Him in truth.

19 He will do the wish of those who fear Him; He will hear their cry and save them.

20 The Lord keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.

21 My mouth will talk about the praise of the Lord, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever.
