Psalms 125

A Song of Trust in the Lord

1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be shook, But lasts forever.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From now on and forever.

3 Because the scepter of wickedness will not live On the spot of the righteous, So the righteous do not hold out their hands to wrong.

4 Lord, do good to the good, And to the straight-up heart.

5 But as for those who turn to their twisted ways, The Lord will make them go with the evil-doers. Peace be on Israel!
