Psalms 126

A Song of Joyful Return

1 When the Lord brought back the captives of Zion, We were like those who are dreaming.

2 Then our mouth was full of laughter, And our tongue with cheering; Then they said among the nations, “The Lord did big-time things for them.”

3 The Lord did big-time things for us; We were happy.

4 Lord, bring back our captives, Like the streams in the south.

5 Those who plant in tears Will pick with cheering.

6 He who goes out crying, Carrying a bag of seeds, Will for sure come back with cheering, Carrying his bundles.
