A Hymn to the Law of God

1 Happy are those whose way is perfect, Who walk in the law of the Lord.

2 Happy are those who keep His rules, Who look for Him with all their heart,

3 Who also do not do wrong; They walk in His ways.

4 You ordered Your commands To be kept hard.

5 I wish my ways were steady To keep Your laws!

6 Then I will not be embarrassed When I look at all Your commands.

7 I will thank You with a straight-up heart When I learn Your righteous judgments.

8 I will keep Your laws; Do not ditch me completely. Beth

9 How can a young dude keep his way clean, By keeping it based on Your word.

10 With all my heart I looked for You; Do not let me wander from Your commands.

11 I hid Your word in my heart, So I do not sin against You.

12 Blessed are You, Lord; Teach me Your laws.

13 With my lips I told All the judgments of Your mouth.

14 I was happy in the way of Your rules Like in all wealth.

15 I will think about Your commands, And look at Your ways.

22 Take away from me the diss and the disrespect, because I kept Your rules.

23 Even though princes sit and talk against me, Your servant thinks about Your laws.

34 Give me understanding, and I will keep Your law, And I will keep it with all my heart.

35 Make me walk in the path of Your commands, because I am happy with it.

36 Bend my heart to Your rules, And not to getting money.

37 Turn my eyes from looking at worthless stuff, And give me life in Your ways.

38 Set up Your word to Your servant, Who is devoted to Your fear.

39 Take away my diss that I am scared of, because Your judgments are good.

54 Your laws became my songs In the house of my temporary life.

58 I looked for Your favor with all my heart; Show me grace according to Your word.

59 I thought about my ways And turned my feet to Your rules.

60 I hurried and did not hold up To keep Your commands.

61 The ropes of the wicked got me, But I did not forget Your law.

62 At midnight I get up to thank You because of Your righteous judgments.

63 I am a friend to all who fear You, And to those who keep Your commands.

64 The earth, Lord, is full of Your loyal grace; Teach me Your laws. Teth

66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge, because I believed in Your commands.

67 Before I was hit, I was messing up, But now I keep Your word.

69 The proud made a lie against me, But with all my heart I will keep Your commands.

70 Their heart is like fat, with no feeling, But I am happy with Your law.
