A Final Word
He turns rivers into a desert, And water springs into dry ground,
A fruitful land into a salt flat, because of the wickedness of those who live in it.
He turns the desert into a pool of water, And dry ground into water springs.
And there He makes the hungry live, And they set up a city to live in.
They plant fields and vineyards, And they drop crops of fruit.
He also blesses them, and they get super big, And He does not make their animals few.
And they get few and brought down By pressure, evil, and sorrow.
He pours contempt on princes And makes them wander in a wasteland where there is no way.
But He holds up the needy from suffering And makes him families like a flock.
The straight-up will see and be happy, And all wrong will shut its mouth.
Who is wise, Let him pay attention to these things; And let them think about the loyal grace of the Lord.
