2 Your teeth white like washed sheep, each with its pair, none missing.

3 Your lips like scarlet ribbon, your mouth lovely.

4 Your neck like David’s tower, built strong and adorned with shields.

5 Your breasts like twin fawns grazing among lilies.

6 Till the day breaks and shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and the hill of incense.

7 You flawless, my love, no flaw in you.

8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride; descend from the mountain peaks.

9 You stole my heart, my sister, my bride, with one glance, one chain on your neck.

10 Your love sweeter than wine, your perfume more fragrant than any spice.

11 Your lips drip honey, milk and honey under your tongue; your clothes smell like Lebanon.

12 You are a locked garden, sealed spring, hidden fountain.

13 Your plants an orchard of pomegranates with rare spices, myrrh, aloes, cinnamon.

14 Nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with every kind of frankincense tree, myrrh, aloes, and all the finest spices.

15 You a garden fountain, well of fresh water, streams flowing from Lebanon.

16 She says, “Awake, north wind; come, south wind. Blow on my garden so its fragrance spreads. Let my love come in and taste its fruits.”
