Peace and Hope Through Christ

Since we have been made right with God through faith, we got peace with Him because of what Jesus did for us.

Through Jesus, we got access to this whole vibe of grace that we are standing in right now. And we stay hyped, knowing we are going to share in God’s glory.

But not only that, we even get hyped when we are going through struggles, because we know struggles build character.

Character teaches us to keep pushing, and that hope we got never disappoints.

Why, Because God poured out His love straight into our hearts through the Holy Spirit He hooked us up with.

While we were still weak, Christ came through and died for us, just at the right time.

Look, nobody out here dying for just anybody. Maybe, if someone is really good, someone might think about it.

But God showed mad love for us in that while we were still wilding out in sin, Christ died for us.

Now that we have been made right by His blood, best believe we are saved from God’s judgment.

If we got cool with God when we were His enemies, just imagine how much more we are saved now that we have been reconciled by Jesus’ death, and even more by His life.

And now, we got mad joy in God through our Lord Jesus, because He brought us back into a relationship with Him.

Adam and Christ Compared

Sin came into the world through one dude (Adam), and with that sin came death. So death spread to everybody, because everybody sinned.

Sin was already in the world before the law came, but it was not counted like that because there was not a law yet.

Still, death was running things from Adam all the way to Moses, even over folks who did not sin the same way Adam did. Adam was just a preview of the One who was coming.

But the gift is not like the trespass. Adam’s mess-up brought death to everybody, but God’s grace through Jesus is way bigger and came to many as a free gift.

The result of that one mess-up was judgment and condemnation, but the result of Jesus’ free gift is being made right, even after many sins.

If death ruled because of one man’s mistake, how much more will those who get God’s grace and gift of righteousness live it up and reign through Jesus,

So, just like one wrong move led to condemnation for everybody, one right move (Jesus’ sacrifice) brings life and righteousness to everybody.

Through one man’s disobedience, many were made sinners. But through one man’s obedience, many will be made righteous.

The law came through to make sin stand out even more, but where sin showed up, God’s grace showed out even harder.

Sin used to reign by bringing death, but now grace is the king, bringing eternal life through Jesus our Lord.
