Romans 16

Personal Greetings

1 Listen, I want you all to meet Phoebe, our sister. She is a real one and a deacon at the church in Cenchreae.

2 Show her mad love and respect in the Lord, just like God’s people should. Help her out with whatever she needs, because she has been there for a lot of people, including me.

3 Shout out to Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus.

4 They put their lives on the line for me, and I am thankful. Not just me, but all the churches of the non-Jews must give them props.

5 Also, say what is up to the church that meets at their house. Shout out to my boy Epaenetus, he was the first one in Asia to believe in Christ.

6 Show some love to Mary; she put in work for you all.

7 Shout out to Andronicus and Junia, my fam and fellow prisoners. They are real ones, well-known among the apostles, and they were in Christ before me.

8 Big love to Ampliatus, my brother in the Lord.

9 Respect to Urbanus, our coworker in Christ, and my homie Stachys.

10 Props to Apelles, who has been through the test and stayed true to Christ. Shout out to those in the household of Aristobulus.

11 Big up to Herodion, my fam. Respect to the crew in the household of Narcissus who belong to the Lord.

12 Shout out to Tryphena and Tryphosa, who be putting in work for the Lord. And give love to Persis, another hard worker for the Lord.

13 Mad respect to Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and shout out to his momma, she is like a mom to me too.

14 Shout out to Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and all the brothers and sisters with them.

15 Say what is up to Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all God’s people with them.

16 Greet each other with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send you all love.

17 Now listen, fam, watch out for people who cause beef and trip others up by teaching stuff that goes against what you all learned. Stay away from them.

18 They are not serving Christ; they are all about their own belly, hustling people with smooth talk and hype to get over on the naïve.

19 Everybody knows you all are about that obedience, and I am proud of you all. But be wise about what is good and stay innocent when it comes to evil.

20 The God of peace is about to crush Satan under your feet real soon. Grace from our Lord Jesus be with you all.

21 Shout out to Timothy, my coworker, and my fam Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater.

22 Oh, by the way, this is Tertius. I wrote this letter for Paul. I send you all my love in the Lord.

23 Shout out to Gaius, who hooked me up with a place to stay, and the whole church here. Erastus, the city treasurer, and our boy Quartus say what is up.

25 Now to Him who is able to make you all stand strong by the good news I preach, about Jesus Christ, the mystery that was hidden for long ages past,

26 But now it has been revealed and made known through the Scriptures by the command of the eternal God, so everybody from all nations might believe and obey Him.

27 To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ. Amen.
