Psalms 138

A Hymn of Praise

1 I will thank You with all my heart; In front of the gods I will sing praises to You.

2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple And thank Your name For Your loyal grace and Your truth, because You lifted Your word above all Your name.

3 In the day I cried out, You answered me; You made me strong with strength in my soul.

A Word to Kings

4 All the kings of the earth will thank You, Lord, When they hear the words of Your mouth.

5 And they will sing about the ways of the Lord, because the props of the Lord are big.

6 Because the Lord is lifted high, but He looks at the humble, But the proud He knows from far away.

7 Even if I walk in the middle of trouble, You will give me life; You will hold out Your hand against the anger of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

8 The Lord will do what is right by me; Lord, Your loyal grace lasts forever; Do not ditch the works of Your hands.
