Psalms 12

A Prayer for the Faithful

1 Save us, Lord, because the faithful are gone; Truth is disappearing from humanity.

2 Everybody be lying to their neighbor. They talking slick with a fake heart.

3 The Lord will cut off all the smooth talkers, The tongues that brag so big.

4 They say, “Our tongue is our power. Who is going to tell us what to do,” God’s Promises

5 “Because the broke are being messed with, because the needy are groaning, Now I am going to get up,’ says the Lord. ‘I will put him in the safety he longs for.’”

6 The Lord’s words are pure, Like silver refined in a furnace, Purified seven times.

7 You, Lord, will keep them safe, And protect them forever from this generation.

8 The wicked be walking all over, When worthless people are held up high.
