Psalms 113

A Hymn of Praise to God

1 Praise the Lord! Praise, you servants of the Lord, Praise the name of the Lord.

2 Blessed be the name of the Lord From now on and forever.

3 From where the sun gets up to where it goes down, The name of the Lord is to be praised.

4 The Lord is lifted high over all the nations, His props over the heavens.

God’s Humility and Power

5 Who is like the Lord our God, Who sits on the throne way up high,

6 Who bends down to look at what is in the heavens and on the earth,

7 He gets the broke out of the dust, He lifts the needy from the trash pile,

8 To make him sit with princes, With the princes of His people.

9 He makes the lonely woman a mother of kids, Happy in her home. Praise the Lord!
