1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered Job.
2 “God holds all dominion and strikes fear. He makes peace in the highest heavens.
3 His armies cannot even be counted, and His light shines on everyone.
Man Compared to God
4 So how can a mortal be righteous before God, How can someone born of a woman be pure,
5 Even the moon is not bright compared to Him, and the stars themselves look dirty in His sight.
6 So how much less a human, who is just maggot-level, a son of man who is like a worm?”
