Psalms 14

The Fool’s Heart

1 The fool’s saying in his heart, “There is no God.” They are all messed up, they did messed up stuff; Nobody is doing good.

2 The Lord looked down from heaven on the human race To see if anybody was wise, If anybody was looking for God.

3 Everybody is turned away; All of them are dirty. Nobody is doing good, not even one.

A Cry for Israel’s Salvation

4 Do they not know, all you evil-doers, They eating up my people like they are eating bread; They do not even call out to the Lord.

5 They are going to be scared, really scared, because God is with the righteous crew.

6 You guys are trying to clown on the hope of the broke, But the Lord is his safe spot.

7 I wish salvation for Israel would come from Zion! When the Lord brings His people back from their struggle, Jacob is going to be happy, Israel is going to celebrate.
