The Lord’s Mountain Will Rise Above All

1 This right here is another word Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw about Judah and Jerusalem.

2 In the last days, God’s mountain, the one with His house on it, will be lifted higher than every other spot. All nations are going to look up and head that way.

3 People from everywhere is going to say, “Let us roll up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will show us what is right, teach us His ways, so we can walk straight.” The truth is going to come out of Zion, and the Word of the Lord outta Jerusalem.

4 He is going to judge between nations, settle beefs between people. They will turn their swords into tools for farming, and their guns into gear for growing food. No more nation fighting nation, nobody training for war anymore.

5 Come on, house of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord.

The Pride of Man Will Be Brought Low

6 Lord, You turned away from Your people, the house of Jacob, because they started acting like outsiders, full of superstitions, chasing fortune-tellers, mixing with other nations, copying their ways.

7 Their land’s stacked with silver and gold, money on top of money. Their garages full of whips, cannot even count them all.

8 Their land’s full of idols. They bow down to what they made with their own hands, man worshipping his own work.

9 So, people get brought low, every man humbled, and You, Lord, You are not about to let that slide.

10 Go hide in the rocks, get low in the dirt when the Lord shows up in all His power and glory.

11 The proud look on people’s faces are going to drop. The arrogant hearts are going to get checked. On that day, the Lord alone is going to stand tall.

12 The Lord of Armies got a day coming for all the proud, for everyone flexing like they untouchable, they all getting humbled.

13 For every tall cedar in Lebanon, every big oak in Bashan,

14 For every high mountain, every lifted hill,

15 For every tall building and proud wall,

16 For every ship out here balling, every vessel showing off.

17 Man’s pride will be leveled. The arrogance is going to crumble. On that day, the Lord alone gets the spotlight.

18 The idols, Gone. Straight up vanished.

People Running from the Lord’s Glory

19 People are going to dip into caves, hide in holes, when the Lord shows up in His power and the earth shakes from His glory.

20 On that day, people are going to throw away their idols, those silver and gold things they made to worship, toss them to the rats and bats.

21 They will hide in cliffs and rock cracks, terrified when the Lord rises up to shut down the earth’s pride.

22 Stop putting your trust in man, he is just breath. He cannot even control his own next breath. Why are you holding him so high,
