2 Corinthians 13

Final Warnings and Greetings

1 Alright, I am coming to visit you all for the third time. Remember, “It takes two or three witnesses to make something legit.”

2 I already told you last time, and I am telling you again, just like I was still there: If I come back and you all are still tripping, acting out and doing wrong, I am not holding back. You all better get it together.

3 You all want proof that Christ is speaking through me, Trust me, He is not soft when it comes to you all, He is real, and He is coming with power.

4 Yeah, He got crucified in weakness, but He is alive now with God’s power. We are weak like He was, but when we work with His power, we are strong and alive for you all.

5 Check yourselves, fam. Make sure you are really walking in faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not know by now that Jesus is in you, Unless, of course, you are failing that test.

6 But I hope you all see that we are not failing this test.

7 We are praying to God that you all do the right thing, not to make us look good, but because it is right. We would rather look weak and have you all strong.

8 We cannot do anything against the truth, only what is for the truth.

9 We are glad to be weak if you all are strong. That is what we are praying for, that you all keep growing and getting better.

10 I am writing this now while I am away so that when I come, I do not have to be hard on you all. The authority the Lord gave me is to build you up, not tear you down.

11 Finally, fam, stay strong. Aim to be complete. Encourage each other, get along, and live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

12 Show each other some love, like family.

13 All God’s people send their love.

14 May the grace of Jesus, the love of God, and the friendship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
