Timothy’s Encouraging Report

We could not take it anymore, so we stayed in Athens and sent help.

We sent Timothy, our bro and God’s servant in spreading the gospel, to strengthen and encourage your faith.

We did not want anyone shook by these struggles. You all know this life comes with trouble.

We warned you all before, suffering was part of the deal, and now it is happening.

That is why I had to send Timothy. I was worried Satan might have tripped you up, and all our hard work would have been wasted.

But Timothy came back with good news: you all still strong in faith and love, and you remember us fondly, wanting to see us like we want to see you.

Hearing about your faith gave us a boost in the middle of all our struggles.

You all standing firm in the Lord gives us life.

We cannot thank God enough for the joy you all bring us!

We are praying hard, night and day, to see you all again and help strengthen your faith even more.

We pray God clears the path for us to visit you all.

May the Lord make your love for each other and everybody else grow, just like our love for you all.

That way, your hearts will be strong, holy, and blameless when Jesus comes back with all His people.
