Hope Through the Struggle

Listen, it is Peter, one of Jesus’ OGs. I am writing to you scattered believers out there in the struggle, much love!

You all are God’s chosen ones, picked by Him, made holy by the Spirit, and covered by Jesus’ blood. Grace and peace, fam.

Praise God, the Father of Jesus Christ. Out of His mercy, He hooked us up with a new life and a living hope through Jesus’ resurrection.

We got an inheritance waiting for us in heaven, it is pure, untouched, and lasts forever.

God’s power has got you protected through faith, holding you down until salvation is fully revealed.

Be happy about this, even though right now you might be going through some struggles and tests.

These trials prove your faith is legit. It is more valuable than gold and will bring you praise, glory, and honor when Jesus pulls up.

You have not seen Jesus, but you love Him. You believe in Him, and that gives you a joy that words cannot explain.

The endgame of all this faith, Your soul’s salvation.

Even the prophets wanted to know more about this salvation. They spoke about the grace that was coming your way.

They were trying to figure out the time and circumstances the Spirit was showing them about Christ’s suffering and His glory after.

It was revealed to them that they were doing this for you, not themselves. Now it is all being preached to you, and even angels wish they could get in on this.

So stay focused and sober-minded. Put all your hope in the grace Jesus is bringing when He shows up.

Live obedient lives. Do not act wild like you did before when you did not know better.

Be holy in everything you do, just like the God who called you is holy.

For real, Scripture says, “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Since you call on God, who judges everyone fairly, live with respect for Him during your temporary hustle here on earth.

You were not saved by money or earthly stuff passed down from your ancestors.

It was Jesus’ precious blood, like the blood of a spotless lamb, that saved you.

He was chosen before the world began but showed up in these last days for your sake.

Because of Him, you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory. That is why your faith and hope are in God.

Now that you have been purified by obeying the truth, love each other deeply from the heart.

You have been born again, not by perishable stuff, but through God’s Word, which is alive and eternal.

The Bible says, “People are like grass, they fade, and their glory is like flowers that wither.”

But God’s Word lasts forever. That is the message you all heard.
