Christ Our Advocate
1 “I am writing this so you all do not sin. But if you mess up, we got Jesus, our defender.”
2 “He paid the price for our sins, and not just ours but the whole world’s.”
3 “We know we know Him if we keep His commandments.”
4 “If you say you know Him but do not obey, you lying.”
5 “Whoever obeys Him, God’s love is made perfect in them. That is how we know we are His.”
6 “If you say you are living in Him, you must live like Jesus did.”
A New Commandment
7 “This is not a new commandment but an old one you have had from the start.”
8 “Still, it is new because the darkness is fading, and the true light is shining.”
9 “If you claim to be in the light but hate your brother, you are still in the dark.”
10 “If you love your brother, you are living in the light, no stumbling here.”
11 “But if you hate, you are in the dark, lost, and blind.”
12 “Little ones, your sins are forgiven through His name.”
13 “Fathers, you know Him who is from the beginning. Young ones, you have overcome the evil one.”
14 “I am writing this because God’s Word is in you, and you have got strength to win.”
Do Not Love the World
15 “Do not fall for the world’s hype. If you love the world, you are not loving the Father.”
16 “All the world offers, lust, pride, greed, it is not from the Father.”
17 “The world and its cravings are fading, but whoever does God’s will lives forever.”
Warning About Antichrists
18 “It is the last hour. Many antichrists are here, proving we are in the end times.”
19 “They left us because they were not really part of us.”
20 “But you all got the Holy One’s anointing, you know the truth.”
21 “I am not writing because you do not know the truth but because you do.”
22 “Who is the liar, The one denying Jesus is the Christ, that is the antichrist.”
23 “If you deny the Son, you do not have the Father. If you acknowledge the Son, you got the Father.”
24 “Let the truth you heard stay in you. If it does, you will stay connected to the Son and the Father.”
25 “And here is the promise: eternal life.”
26 “I am writing about those trying to mislead you all.”
27 “The anointing you got teaches you everything. Stay connected to Him.”
28 “Stay in Him so you are ready when He comes back, no shame at His return.”
29 “If you know He is righteous, you know His children do right too.”
